Google sign-in and calendar scopes
Skedvio uses Google for account sign-in (via Supabase Auth) and, when you choose to connect a calendar, for Google Calendar access. Scopes requested at connection time include only what scheduling requires:
openidandhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email— identify which Google account is connectedhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly— read events to display your schedule and compute availabilityhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events— create, update, or cancel events when bookings are confirmed
The exact scopes appear on Google's consent screen before you authorize. We do not request broader calendar access than needed for the features you use.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Skedvio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing scheduling features in Skedvio
- Google user data is not sold and is not used to serve advertisements
- Google user data is not transferred to third parties except to provide or improve Skedvio, comply with law, protect security, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice
- Humans do not read Google user data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or in aggregated form for internal operations
Microsoft Graph (Outlook)
Optional Outlook connection uses read-only calendar permissions (Calendars.Read plus standard sign-in scopes) to sync events for display and availability. Skedvio does not write to Outlook calendars.
Zoom
Optional Zoom connection reads meeting data to show Zoom events in your schedule. Data is used only for scheduling features under Zoom's platform terms.
