Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Skedvio ("we", "us", or "our") is a scheduling application that helps you connect calendars, manage availability, share booking links, and view your schedule. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

  • Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo through our authentication provider (Supabase). We also store your timezone and in-app preferences.
  • Calendar data — if you connect Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or Zoom, we access calendar events and related metadata needed to display your schedule, calculate availability, and create bookings. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted.
  • Scheduling data — availability rules, manual blocks, booking link settings, and share-link configuration you create in the app.
  • Booking data — guest name, email, optional notes, selected time slot, and timezone when someone books through your link. We may store a hashed IP address briefly to prevent abuse of temporary slot holds.
  • Meeting notes — notes you choose to attach to events in the app.
  • Technical data — basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) for security, debugging, and reliability.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your account
  • Sync, cache, and display calendar events
  • Calculate availability and power booking links
  • Create or update calendar events for confirmed bookings
  • Generate optional daily brief summaries of your schedule
  • Operate, secure, and improve the service

Google user data

Sign-in and calendar connection may use Google. Skedvio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google data only to:

  • Sign you in and identify your account
  • Read calendar events for display and availability
  • Create, update, or cancel events when bookings are confirmed
  • Sync calendar changes you authorize

We do not use Google user data for advertising or sell it to data brokers. See our Legal & Google API page for OAuth scope details.

Other calendar providers

Microsoft Outlook — read-only calendar access to sync events for display and availability. We do not modify Outlook calendars through Skedvio.

Zoom — read access to include Zoom meetings in your schedule view. Bookings are written to Google Calendar when you have a Google account connected as the write target.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in (via Supabase Auth) and to remember settings such as your display timezone. We do not use advertising cookies.

AI features

The daily brief may use a third-party AI service (OpenAI) when configured by the operator. In that case, we send only the information needed to summarize your day (such as meeting count, times, and titles). We do not use AI output for advertising.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers — Supabase (auth and database), Vercel (web hosting), and Railway (API hosting), solely to run Skedvio
  • Calendar platforms — Google, Microsoft, or Zoom, when you connect an account or when a booking is written to your calendar
  • Booking guests — guests who use your booking link see your display name and available slots, not your full calendar
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Cached calendar events are updated on sync and removed when you disconnect a calendar or delete your account. Unconfirmed slot reservations expire within minutes.

Your rights and choices

  • Disconnect calendars anytime in Settings
  • Revoke Skedvio's access in your Google, Microsoft, or Zoom account security settings
  • Delete your account in Settings to remove your profile, tokens, cached events, booking links, and notes from our systems
  • Contact us to request access to or correction of your personal data, or to exercise applicable privacy rights in your region

Security

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to production systems is limited. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Skedvio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries where we and our service providers operate, including the United States. By using Skedvio you understand your data may be transferred to those locations.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
